Designing a new membrane switch prototype

Due to our proximity to the customer, we were able to meet onsite and review the project details. We aligned our resources to meet the target by staying in touch with the customer regularly. Collaboration between the Melrose technical team and the customer was key to addressing the short- and long-term project requirements.

Processing

• Through a combination of digital and screen-printing processes, Melrose was able to deliver on all aspects of quality, function, and timing.

• A combination of hard tooling and CNC fabrication allowed Melrose to compress the traditional processing time and meet the urgent needs of the client.

Key elements

• Melrose technical staff collaborated with the customer on design elements from the beginning of the project by analyzing the legacy sample

• Providing detailed technical documentation to ensure all the critical elements are identified and approved

• Leverage a range of digital/traditional printing and fabrication methodologies to deliver on time without compromising quality

• Responding with urgency and speed when project details needed revision or correction
